What a great Show: 70 YEARS OF SPORTALM

Sportalm Kitzbühel celebrated the 70th anniversary of the brand and the 80th birthday of Herta and Wilhelm Ehrlich with an extraordinary anniversary gala in the magnificent setting of the Spanish Riding School. The superlative event was celebrated with around 600 guests and employees.

On new paths. The Kitzbühel town band opened the gala with impressive marching music on the catwalk. Accompanied by Mayor Dr Klaus Winkler, who brought a special surprise with him: Sportalm is now officially located at ‘Wilhelm Ehrlich Weg 1’.

The Ehrlich family and Sportalm have been supporting the ‘Children a Chance’ organisation for years. The four grandsons presented a charity cheque for 55,000 euros. The anniversary was taken as an opportunity to expand the Alex Mair School in Uganda, which was built in 2008, to include a kindergarten.

A million dreams!

One of Ulli Ehrlich's greatest wishes came true when the original crew of the successful musical ‘This is THE GREATEST SHOW!’ performed their songs for the fashion show of the Sportalm summer collection. The singers of the show created an exuberant atmosphere and standing ovations with their songs.
